Telangana gets ready for next phase of movement

Telangana movement was slow down due to Election in other states, examination and also a promise of the central Government that decision will be taken after the 5 state election are completed.

Now the Center Government has taken a U turn and not ready to work on any kind of plan on the Telangana statehood issue.  Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has not decided to taken the movement into next phase with making it more intensified and also getting major ministers, pressurizing Government to decide on it.

Prof. Kondandaram has decided that after the death of K Shankar, who is known as the father of the Telangana movement,  which made delays of their plans on the protest.  The deadline stipulated for the resignation submission of the T-Minister was June 25, which was not a success and every day attacks on the T-ministers, stoppage of convoy across the region has also raised question.

TJAC has now decided for protest in different ways:

  • Plans to block roads, Rail Roko and General strike in the coming days,
  • Again a million march to Hyderabad for the statehood decision. 
  • TJAC has also decided to put pressure on the T-Ministers to support and TDP leader to quit the assembly proceedings. 
  • TJAC is also looking out to work with TRS and BJP and join their protest make it success.
  • Telangana Congress ministers had decided to go on fast on July 5 at the Delhi in order to draft and take action on the Telangana state hood issue.
  • With TDP also being spilt into two camps, N Janardhan Reddy taking up the Telangana issue and criticizing the party leader and also has decided to take two day fast rally at the capital Hyderabad on July 3-4.

Now with Telangana protestors deciding on their action.  Pro-telangana activists has also decided to come into action with meeting the leader at the Center and requesting them not to take an action on the Telangana statehood issue.
