MP Vivek is in discussion with KCR and is willing to provide complete support to him.  KCR is planning to meet BJP Leader Sushma Swaraj on the Telangana issue.

The first core committee meeting held did not have any outcome and decision taken for the Telangana issue at Pranab residence.  Now with the next meeting to be held at 5:00 pm, Ghulam Nabi report will discussed and also it may take some time for the team to be taken decision the Telangana issue.

TRS Chief KCR decides on indefinite hunger strike.

Finally we see some action from the TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao who has orbeen missing from limelight fm quite sometime on the Telangana state formation agitation.

This time TRS President has decided to go on indefinite fast for separate Telangana statehood. Family members and TRS legislator K Tarakarama Rao told reporters that the party chief is in talks with the senior leaders on how to proceed with the plan for "fast unto death".

The decision is yet to be taken and will be announced by the party chief.

It was in 2009 when KCR went on hunger strike and on the 11th day of the strike, Central Government came into action and decided to start a formal process for the Telangana statehood.  After which we have seen many turnaround by the UPA Government on the issue and trying to avoid the Telangana state.

The TRS leader plans to go on a fast at a time when the Telangana movement has intensified with 'sakala janula samme', or general strike by all sections.

Most of the Government employees, teachers and workers of state-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited are on strike for the last eight days and employees of the Road Transport Corporation (RTC) have also joined them.  With lawyers have also decided to boycott their court and other section people are also getting ready to join the movement.

This will give KCR a good boost if he plans on going for indefinite hunger strike.  Again it should be carried on non-violence bases and should not effect the General life of normal person.

Telangana Strikes hit back Andhra Pradesh Government

With the agitation of separate Telangana again getting more active.  The strikes in the Telangana region has hit back AP state very badly.

The strike which has started from September 13 with participation of pro-Telangana parties like the TRS, and also stating that there will more serious action will be taken if the Government does not decide on the outcome of Telangana state.

With no buses, blocked highways and dharnas by various unions, the Telangana agitation is back in strength and it back in Government to decide what action to be taken. With all the Telangana districts participating in the agitation, the more affected districts are Warangal, Karimnagar and Adilabad and with government implementing the rule of "no work no pay" it has also led the Government employees to join the agitation on the rule.

CM Kiran Reddy has made it clear that Central and State will not take any decision immediately as they are waiting for the report from the committee headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad and will look into the pros and cons.  Then a all party meeting will be done, where the critical decision will taken.

With all this agitation in the state, it is the normal person (as Congress say "AAM AADAMI") who is getting hit badly, the shops, colleges, schools and offices needs to be closed every other day, for no cause as the Central and State Government are not willing to decide on the Telangana State Formation.

It is the political drama that is taking place behind the curtain, and "AAM AADMI" is suffering due to the action taken by them.  The citizens of state, students should understand that instead of violence agitation, why don't they take up the movement in non-violence method and let the "AAM AADMI" lead his normal life.

The best example of work to be done is "ANNA HAZARE Movement Fight against Corruption" Lakhs of people gathered, no violence, no business stoppage, schools and college functioned normally.  Yet he brought down the Government to accept his Lokpal bill.

Now the student union has decided to boycott classes from Aug 17 and go on indefinite strike.  The JAC has decided to block highways on Aug 16.

With the state issue catching up, Jagan has decided to start his "Odarpu Yatra" from Aug 15 in order console the familites in Krishna district which will be go on for 16 days and ending on Aug 31 with huge meeting.

During this Yatra Jagan will be covering 1150 km and also unveil 160 statues of Rajasekhar Reddy at various places.

Telangana state talks fails and TJAC decide to go on strike

Hone Minister P Chindabaram has mentioend that UPA Government would not like to take any decision on the state hood of Telangana.  The party is in talks with the state parties on the issues.  However, Ghulam Nabi Azad did mention to the Telangana MPs that he will consulting with the Central and get results in 2 months.

Chindabaram also stated the NDA Government has also opposed for the Telangana state issue in 2002.  With the talks going on with the parties, he stated that out 8 main parties in the state only few are supporting the state hood issue.

With the Congress leader not willing to take back their resignations and supporting the formation of Telangana state.

The Congress leaders has decide to go on a one-day hunger-strike in Hyderabad on the August 11, protesting the delay in deletion of clause 14 (f) of the Presidential Order dealing with administrative recruitments.

Congress leaders are also planning to hoist the Telangana Flag on Aug 15.

Now the state and Central Government employees in the Telangana region have decided to go on hunger strike from Aug 17.  This is has been due to talks failing with the Government and also moving out of police from certain areas and offices.   The unions later announced the agitation would resume from August 8 in various forms and will turn into a full-fledged, indefinite strike from August 17 as scheduled.

With August on begin and Parliament session is process in the Centre, TJAC and TRS have already decided that they will start their agitation action from this month, if there is no outcome on the statehood issue.

WIth K Chandrasekhar Rao, TRS deciding to declare a Bandh on Aug 5, has requested the CM to postpone the the written test for recruitment of police sub-inspectors (SI). He has also mentioned that he will also consider another bandh on Aug 13, 14 if the state government does not issue orders cancelling the written exam for SIs (civil, armed reserve and APSP) scheduled to be held on August 13 and 14. Telangana MPs stay away from Parliament Session

With the monsoon started in both the house of the Parliament and this session being the crucial one, with as many 36 important bills to discuss and passed by both the houses.

The Telangana statehood issue is also one of such discussion that needs to taken into this session by the Congress party and draft the bill for the same.  In view of this most the Telangana MPs did not attend the Parliament session.

Though Congress spokeperson Ghulam Nabi Azad has made all the attempts with the T-minister in order to take their resignation back, however, it did not reap any results.

The Congress MPs, two Lok Sabha members from Telangana Rashtra Samiti and Telugu Desam, and one Rajya Sabha member from Telugu Desam also stayed away from the Parliament.  A total of nine members of the Lok Sabha (lower house) and one member of Rajya Sabha (upper house) stayed away.

With no action taken on the Telangana issue, KCR has threaten that he will consume poison and die if there is no outcome.

With this TTDP went on day long dharna at the Indira Park, and also stated that If Sonia Gandhi says, that she will create Telangana state and ChandraBabu Naidu writes a letter for the same.  They are ready to take back their resignation.

Here you go, thought the minister have submitted their resignations to the Government, still they are getting paid for the duties which they are not performing for the citizens of State.  Government has mentioned unless their resignation are accepted by the respective party leader or ruling Government they will be paid their salaries, whether perform their duties or not.

IT IS WIN WIN SITUATION FOR THE MINISTERS, NO WORK GET PAID. Now whose money is the Government paying to them?

UP Chief Minister Mayawati has mentioned she will support Telangana state issue if it is been discussed in the Parliament.

Bahujan Samaj Party will provide it support in the parliament as Scheduled caste presence is more when compared to other classes in the region.  Scheduled Caste, Tribes and other backward classes are numerically high in number in the Telangana region.

She also mentioned that it has always been an issue with the new state formation in the country with Congress and BJP Government in power.  If the BSP, comes to power in the centre then a new state formation will not be any issue and settled at one go.

Mayawati also presented her roadmap in order to get more support in Andhra Pradesh, also stated that BSP will fight lonely on all the seats of the state on its own. She has also hit back on the price rise of Diesel, Kerosene and LPG Gas by the Government.

Speaking about the Black money, she mentioned that if it is brought back, the poverty in India will be eradicated.

T-Ministers defer from their resignation submission on T-issue

With the resignation deadline being ended on 26th June, now there is riff between the Telangana ministers who are present in the Cabinet post. Now most of the ministers has slated that they will wait till the Central Government decides or give a decision on the Telagnana state hood issue.

Congress has asked all its Telangana minister to keep quite on the resignation issued and also not to speak about the Telangana statehood issue.  One of the reason could be with the expansion of cabinet to done, some of the MP are expecting or can bargain for cabinet with state hood issue.

Now with change of minds with the Central ministers, Telangana minister just turned around stating that they have not yet decided the date for beginning the agitation which they mentioned before on July 5.

However, now the decision on the future agitation which includes hunger strike and resignation will be taken at their next meeting here on July 1.  As V Hanumantha Rao and Malkajgiri MP Sarve Satyanarayana are looking for cabinet post during the cabinet expansion which is going to happen.

Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar, MPs Balaram Naik and S Rajaiah  are still willing for  separate statehood.

Congress plans Gorkhaland action to Telangana region

Congress has decided not give a separate statehood for the Telangana.  They are not willing to divide the state though there is intense pressure from the MP and MLA of their party and willing to step down if no action is taken.

Sonia Gandhi has decided to roll out the plan as they have done for the Gorkhaland by providing autonomy and benefits such as formation of a council with wide-ranging powers and a big financial package.  This is the last suggestion provided in the Sri Krishna Committee report in 2010. The SriKrishna committee suggested certain safeguard methods for Telangana including the TRC agreements in 1956.

Congress party has taken complete a U turn and not willing to take any action on the Telangana statehood issue and instead have appointed Ghulam Nabi Azad to speak with the Telangana MP who are going to meet him in next 2 weeks at New Delhi. The suggestion has come out for the kitty of Sonia Gandhi, to go with the Darjeeling model for Telangana issue and is not supporting any kind of regionalism or sub-regionalism in the state.

With this news out, TJAC, TRS and JAC have all got into action and hit back to the central stating the when the States Reorganization Commission has accepted the report for the separate state and Congress too declared that they will work on the separate state formation, why they are changing their minds.  They have planned to increase the pressure on the Central with their intensifying agitation in the state.

What is Darjeeling Model?

Ramdev Baba fights back for black money

Yog Guru Ramdev Baba today began his indefinite hunger strike at the Ram Leela Maidan in New Delhi.  This is indefinite strike and will go on unless all his demand are211123_149512088448161_614099_n accepted and being action immediately. Ramdev Baba is in no mood to wait for 3 -6 months with a committee forming and looking into it.  He is adamant for action to be performed immediately or in a month.

Ramdev Baba does not want the Lokpal Bill acted to be repeated which looks like it will not be drafted by June 30 the deadline given by Anna Hazare, as Government has thrown the ball to the state Government minister to accept and give their opinion on the bill.

The stage for the hunger strike is no less than a 5 star facility which Ramdev Baba and his followers have created for the movement.  This pandal has about 1000 fans, 1300 toilets, larger LCD Screen, Water facility round the clock, ICU present at the location and all kinds of facilities required.  The pandal is about 70 feet long.

With Ramdev Baba main agenda being "Bring back black money and declaring it as national assets".  There are also many question raised on the Baba Ramdev funding for the movement, his property, followers, support for the movement and his eagerness to gain the top of position of India.

Some of the Highlights of Day 1 of "Bhrashtachar Mitao Satyagraha" Movement:

  • Yog Guru Baba Ramdev began his indefinite hunger strike at 7:00 am.
  • With his regular prayers and yog excerise, Baba started his day.
  • There were about 50000 people gathered in the Ram Leela Maidan.
  • Many religious leader, NGO, Social workers, Actors have joined the movement in the later part of the day.
  • Regular talks are going on with the Central Government, with 90% of Ramdev Baba demands have been accepted.
  • The movement is also taking place across the country in various parts of other states and cities.
  • By end of day, there were about 1,00,000 people present in Ram Leela Maidan for the support.

Ramdev Baba is very adamant with his demands and also not willing to agree on the reason provided by the Congress Leaders Pranab Mukherjee, Kapil Sibal, Shakeel Ahmed and with FM Minister.

Let see what are Ramdev Baba Demands for this Movement.

Baba Ramdev Demands for Central Government

Baba Ramdev has made it very clear that he has no support from any party or organization.  His hunger agitation is for the people, by the people. He is not looking for any kind of position or not will contest in any election.

His main aim is to bring back the black money which is stores in the foreign banks from our own country citizens and making our country poorer and poorer.  According to Ramdev Baba there is about 4 lakh crores of black money stored in the foreign banks.

He wants that Government to bring back the money and declare it a national assets and make use for the country development.

"Bhrashtachar Mitao Satyagraha" Demands of Baba Ramdev

    1. Declare accounts of Indians in tax havens as national property - GOI must declare all tax haven accounts of Indian corrupts to be national property through an ordinance and later with enactment of a bill. This is a very easy step to execute and does not conflict with any foreign policy, treaty or agreement.

    2. Declare stashing away black money in tax havens as national crime - GOI must declare the act of stashing away of black money in swiss banks as a 'Rajdroh' or national crime because it has led to disasters in our country. 883 people die every HOUR just because of malnutrition and hunger whereas corrupt people out there are carrying out scams worth lakhs of crores which could be used for the development of our nation. Such big scams are only because stashing away of money in swiss banks is very easy for the corrupt.

    3. Death penalty and lifetime imprisonment for the corrupt - GOI must pass a law to enforce death penalty or lifetime imprisonment on people who are found to be guilty of corrupt practices. The only reason that corruption is so widespread today is that there is no punishment for the corrupt and they enjoy luxurious freedom inspite of putting the nation at stake.

    4. Enactment of a strong Lokpal - The government must now enact a strong Lokpal which can control corruption in the country. Corruption is now a cancer for us and Lokpal is a great weapon against it. India Against Corruption is heading this movement and we give full support to them.

    5. Setting up of fast track courts in all states to deal specially with corruption issues - The government needs to setup fast track courts in all the states so that punishing the corrupt becomes easy. Crores of cases are pending in courts at the moment which would take years to clear up. We need faster execution and stronger laws to deal with this cancer.

    6. Removal of high denomination currency notes from the economy - Government should immediately recall high denomination notes from the economy to prevent internal black money formation. Today we have 100 lakh crores of black money circulating inside our economy and thats because Rs. 1000, Rs.500 notes make it easier for corrupt people to transport, carry and store large sums of money for purpost of illegal and corrupt dealings. These notes should be removed immediately. There is no use of these notes when 80 crore+ people in our country live on a daily income of Rs.20 and never get the luxury of even seeing a Rs.500 note.

    7. Educational curriculum in Bharatiya Languages - Curriculum and examinations of engineering, medical, agriculture should be made available in Bharatiye languages too and as fast as possible so that even a villager can get education properly instead of being deprived on the name of a foreign language(English) which we are using as the primary mode of education even after 64 years of independence. What a shame! We are not against english. But we must learn to respect our own languages first.

    8. Ban the Land Acquisition Act - This act was brought by the Britishers to loot us and what a shame that we still have this law and its also being used to loot the poor farmers till date who are the people providing and catering to the hunger needs of our nation. This agricultural loot needs to be stopped NOW!

    9. Direct election of the Prime Minister - History has shown that indirect selection of Prime Ministers has only lead to political troubles because most of the time the PM is busy safeguarding his chair putting national interest at stake. Political instability and personal conflicts in parties lead to instability in the governance just because of this reason. So the PM should be directly elected by the people and should be directly accountable to the citizens of this country.

    10. Enactment of a strong Public Service Delivery Guarantee Act - If any citizen is denied service by any govt official within a stipulated period of time then the concerned official will have to pay penalty in the form of money to the particular citizen on a daily/weekly basis. This will help to make execution of government offices faster and prevent laziness and bribery.
