T-Ministers decides to Boycott Cabinet Meeting

For the first time in the history of Andhra Pradesh, all the Telangana minister have decided to boycott the state cabinet meeting to be held on Monday.

This was informed to the Chief Minister Kiran Reddy during a dinner which he had hosted at his residence, which had a turnout of 6-7 ministers out of 38 ministers.  Most of the Telangana ministers have already submitted their paper and are not attending any of the assembly session still they get a separate state.

Congress Ministers held a meeting at Guntur for "Samkhya Andhra" and also plan to boycott the cabinet meetings.  Governor as decided to take some action on the ministers who are planning not attend the meetings.

With ministers submitting their resignation to the Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar, he has decided to take time on deciding what action needs to be taken on them. Currently Speaker is on vacation Europe and UK.  He will return back in August and then decide on what action to be taken.

The state is boiling on the Telangana issue, with ministers taking their protest on road, submitting their resignation and Speaker of the state is on vacation enjoying his foreign trip.

The total of 100 Telangana MLAs belonging to the Congress (45 members included 12 ministers, two PRP and three associate members), TDP (37, including four rebels), TRS (12), CPI (4) and BJP (2) had submitted their resignations on July 4.

With the pressures from local people, a total number of 141 Telangana public representatives including 9 Congress MPs of Lok Sabha, two each of TRS and TDP, several Rajya Sabha, Legislative Council and Assembly members had submitted resignations for the Telangana cause.

Renuka Choudhary was stopped by Telangana activists at Khammam, though she has cleared her stand for support on the separate Telangana state.
