TDP stands on Telangana state issue?

TDP Chief Naidu is now a complete changed personality on the Telangana statehood issue.

TJAC has asked TDP to pass pro-telangana state resolution in its annual meet, which will clear the party stands on Telangana movement.  Till date TDP has not been clear on its stand on the Telangana issue and if TDP passes a resolution, then it can put more pressure on the Congress Government in the centre.

TJAC also mentioned that they are not able to make out if TDP is ready to support Telangana state issue or not.  However, they are ready to tie with Nagam Janardhan Reddy for any kind of action on moving the Telangana statehood issue further.

With the Mahanadu completed, TDP Chief may have decided to support the Telangana movement. Some of his activities, which looks like he is going in full support for Telangana, after the devasting loss in Cuddapah by elections.

  • Played Batukama, which is traditional festival in the Telangana region.
  • He has asked commissioner to drop all cased against the Osmania students who were involved in the Telangana protest during the start of the Mahanadu and release them.

In his speech, during the Mahanadu, he also questioned the Andhra leaders on their stand and also made it clear that he would be discussing on the Telangana issue and will make it clear on the party stand for the statehood issue.

However, there were question raised and unhappiness presented by the Andhra Ministers and also some happiness toward the Telangana ministers. Naidu also made it clear, that it is very necessary to stand next to all his minister be it from Telangana and Andhra.
