All the drama has been created history in the Indian political scenario. Most of the ministers in Andhra Pradesh have submitted their resignation to the Government in protest of the Non-Telangana State and calling out for "Samkhya Andhra Pradesh".
Chief Minister K Rosaiah would not have thought of this disastrous turn that has taken after the midnight announcement made by the Congress at New Delhi for Telangana Statehood. Of the 294 seats in assembly half of the ministers have submitted their resignation which includes Congress, PRP, TDP and many other smaller parties who are supporting Congress. The party which is at triumph is TRS, for getting out what it needed in just 11 days with the Gandhiji weapon.
The count for the Government to fall has begun with just 34ministers left in the party who have not yet decided what decision they need to take. However, there are plans of 20 cabinet ministers also to step down from the Central Government. The count of 34 council of minister including CM. 20 are from Andhra and Rayalseema and 13 are from Telangana. The 20 minister have decided to put down paper any time today or coming days,
What does this mean?
The Government of Congress is all set to fall and President is rule going to applied in the State. May be new election may take place, whic may benefit some of the parties like TRS. KCR is not willing to calm down on the issue of Telangana state. Rosaiah is in constant touch with Sonia Gandhi and looking for the decision and command that is going to come out from the Congress house.
What is the process of getting the Statehood?
President of India can initiate the process for the creation of new state. With Congress stating that they cannot move to separate state of Telangana pending a resolution to this effect from AP Assembly. Before going forward, the President needs to get approval and views from legislature and check for the proposal of state in the bill. This means the core of the proposal to create a new state along wth the demarcation of its boundaries must be sent to the state legislature for it views. More of legal process involved.
However, the state is at turmoil with most of the state cancelling their services to Andhra Pradesh. Karnataka has stopped all its buses towards Hyderabad and AP with many other states to follow the same
