"Total Telangana" says KCR or be Prepared for a big war

K Chandrasekhar Rao of Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) has come back again in sending out clear signals to the Congress in the centre stating that party and region is getting ready for next war on the formation of  "Total Telangana".kcr-smiling

He has already mentioned that the bill should /need to be passed in the Assembly and Parliament as it is in the current form with no changes.  KCR has also mentioned that he has already planned to meet Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh to ensure that there is no autonomy in the Hyderabad administration.

He has already taken up some major points saying:

  • Why should the state be headed by the Governor?
  • Why should the law and order in Hyderabad be different from the other region of Telangana?

He has made it clear that this was not the bill that they had been fighting for many years.  There are several provision which needs amended to be done in the bill.  He is not in favour of any kind of sharing policy on water, funds and appointment of jobs in government sector and disagree with sharing of power and capital.

TJAC Chairman Prof M Kodandaram is going to organise a dharna at Indira Park after January 3  when the assembly is back to discuss on T Bill and also make it clear that they will not accept or go hand dows with the current provisions.

KCR has made it clear that during the regime, Telangana people have suffered a lot and lost their jobs. So why should now they be paid pension for the people who have already retired and also jobs, after the state is formed.

29th Indian State in row of Formation : Telangana

Finally after a long wait for 50+ years, Telangana going to get separated and form the 29th State of India.  With going back to 2009, where then Home minister P Chindabaram declaring that the state of “Telangana” will be formed soon.

In the last few months there was fast action taken on this decision and finally with both the Congress and Working Committee giving a nod for the “Telangana” a state formation. With this decision it has been mixed response from the state, with many people in “Telangana” region celebrating across the districts and capital.

However, Andhra and Rayalseema people are not ready to divided the state and Minister Sadashiva Rao, Congress Party has already resigned from his post.  CM Kiran Reddy has also made it clear that he is not in support of the division of the state.  He will not like to preside as CM for the two state.

With a total of 10 districts within Telangana state and Hyderabad being a common capital for both the region for next 10 years.  Congress is backing on the vote bank politics for the upcoming state and centre elections.

Hundreds of paramilitary soldiers have been deployed in Andhra Pradesh to prevent any violent protests.

Last time the new states were formed in 2000: Chhattisgarh from eastern Madhya Pradesh; Uttarakhand from  Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand from Bihar's southern districts. With the Telangana getting a nod for the formation, the protests have begun in other region which have been demanding a separate state which includes Bundelkhand region in the central state of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha in western Maharashtra state and Gorkhaland in the eastern West Bengal state.

However, due to state and centre election on the verge, Congress has take up this decision, it may take around 5-8 months for the state to be formed. The new state is still far from reality – the decision still has to be ratified by local lawmakers and implemented.

TRS Chief KCR decides on indefinite hunger strike.

Finally we see some action from the TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao who has orbeen missing from limelight fm quite sometime on the Telangana state formation agitation.

This time TRS President has decided to go on indefinite fast for separate Telangana statehood. Family members and TRS legislator K Tarakarama Rao told reporters that the party chief is in talks with the senior leaders on how to proceed with the plan for "fast unto death".

The decision is yet to be taken and will be announced by the party chief.

It was in 2009 when KCR went on hunger strike and on the 11th day of the strike, Central Government came into action and decided to start a formal process for the Telangana statehood.  After which we have seen many turnaround by the UPA Government on the issue and trying to avoid the Telangana state.

The TRS leader plans to go on a fast at a time when the Telangana movement has intensified with 'sakala janula samme', or general strike by all sections.

Most of the Government employees, teachers and workers of state-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited are on strike for the last eight days and employees of the Road Transport Corporation (RTC) have also joined them.  With lawyers have also decided to boycott their court and other section people are also getting ready to join the movement.

This will give KCR a good boost if he plans on going for indefinite hunger strike.  Again it should be carried on non-violence bases and should not effect the General life of normal person.
