"Total Telangana" says KCR or be Prepared for a big war

K Chandrasekhar Rao of Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) has come back again in sending out clear signals to the Congress in the centre stating that party and region is getting ready for next war on the formation of  "Total Telangana".kcr-smiling

He has already mentioned that the bill should /need to be passed in the Assembly and Parliament as it is in the current form with no changes.  KCR has also mentioned that he has already planned to meet Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh to ensure that there is no autonomy in the Hyderabad administration.

He has already taken up some major points saying:

  • Why should the state be headed by the Governor?
  • Why should the law and order in Hyderabad be different from the other region of Telangana?

He has made it clear that this was not the bill that they had been fighting for many years.  There are several provision which needs amended to be done in the bill.  He is not in favour of any kind of sharing policy on water, funds and appointment of jobs in government sector and disagree with sharing of power and capital.

TJAC Chairman Prof M Kodandaram is going to organise a dharna at Indira Park after January 3  when the assembly is back to discuss on T Bill and also make it clear that they will not accept or go hand dows with the current provisions.

KCR has made it clear that during the regime, Telangana people have suffered a lot and lost their jobs. So why should now they be paid pension for the people who have already retired and also jobs, after the state is formed.

Seemandhra BJP leaders not in support of Telangana formation

BJP has already expressed their interest in creation and support for the Telangana state. However, with BJP unit in Seemandhra region is not in support for the same.  They plan to launch an agitation in opposing the terms and conditions in bifurcatin of the state.

BJP national executive member and former MLA Kambhampati Haribabu said that Seemandhra BJP leaders are planning to create  a list of the injustices that may occurs with the state formation and how the region will be affected.

However, it has been made clear by the central leadership of BJP that all their concerns will be addressed and also think on how it can be handle before the state is formed.

One such concern that has been raised by the BJP unit is Polavaram Project.  As as part of Khammam district will merged when the dam is built and Bhadrachalam project for which they Seemandhra are fighting from long time.

Accordingly Telangana, India's 29th state, would cover 10 of the 23 districts of undivided Andhra Pradesh. The city of Hyderabad would serve as the joint capital of the two successor states for a period of 10 years.
